This Cookie Policy explains how TNG - The Nordic Group Oy uses cookies and similar technologies on thenordicgroup.io. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can support essential functions, remember choices or help measure how a website is used. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and cookieless measurement signals.
2. Our approach
We aim to minimise tracking. Plausible Analytics is used for aggregated website statistics without cookies or persistent identifiers. Google Analytics 4 is used on article pages with Google Consent Mode, with analytics storage denied by default. Our embedded Calendly booking tool may use its own cookies and provides cookie controls within the booking experience.
Non-essential cookies should not be activated unless you have made the relevant choice through the cookie or consent interface available on the site or within the embedded service.

4. Necessary technologies
Some technical processing is required to deliver pages securely, balance traffic, prevent misuse and remember essential choices. These technologies cannot always be switched off because the website or a requested feature would not work correctly without them.
5. Plausible Analytics
Plausible gives us aggregated traffic statistics such as page views, referral sources, device categories and countries. According to Plausible, it does not use cookies, does not generate persistent identifiers and does not track people across websites. Learn more in Plausible's data policy.
6. Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is currently used on article pages. It helps us understand which articles are read and whether visitors interact with article calls to action or the booking module. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other direct contact details to Google Analytics.
Our Google tag sets analytics, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation to denied by default. If analytics consent is granted, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. If consent is denied, Consent Mode can still transmit limited cookieless measurement signals for basic measurement and modelling.
Google documents the default expiry for the _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies as two years. You can read more in Google's GA4 cookie documentation.
7. Calendly
The website includes an embedded Calendly scheduler. Calendly processes information and may set technologies needed to load the scheduler, remember preferences, improve performance and prevent misuse. Calendly provides a cookie banner or settings interface within the embed. Review Calendly's cookie information and its Privacy Notice.
8. Managing your choices
When a cookie banner or consent settings link is available, you can use it to accept, reject or change non-essential categories. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the embedded booking tool or other requested features.
Withdrawing consent does not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful. It prevents relevant non-essential storage from being used from that point onward, subject to the technical operation of the consent tool.
9. Third-party websites
Our pages may link to third-party websites, including LinkedIn and service providers. Their cookies and privacy practices are controlled by those providers and are not covered by this Cookie Policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add, remove or reconfigure technologies. The latest version is published on this page with its update date.
